AYFS er Breanna Boudry and I are headed to N.W. Missouri next weekend.
We hope to hook up with some fellow Avery pro/field staff people on Thurs. and or Fri. and then on Sat. and Sun. We are hunting with Jon Eaton from showmesnowgeese.com. We are hunting around Mound City and The nodaway refuge area later in the week. From what I was told they have some proven fields for years.
Pray for safe travel, good weather and many opportunities to harvest.

we headed out as planned and found conditions tough.we were hunting the smartest front edge birds that had been in the area for a while.
we were able to shoot a few including some ross geese.
the total for the days we were there was about 20 birds total but the harvest of the birds was secondary,we were able to hook up and hunt with a group from utah called bullock outdoors and they were there filming the final chapter for their upcoming dvd called \"fold em 2\".
these guys were some of the best people breanna and i have met.we have met some awesome new friends and if you want to see a sample of the dvd go to their website at www.bullockoutdoors.com and look for the snow goose footage in the trailer for the dvd. the lab retrieving the snow on the water is one of breannas birds she knocked down.
i will try to put up a few pics here to share.
