I have been practicing on my new krypyonite call.I decided I needed to trim the reed,that was a mistake I took off a shy 1-32 and it was too much,new reeds and cork are on the way:laugh:

I encourage you to tune from scratch this will help you be a well rounded caller.
You will also learn the sweet spot of the Kryptonite tone board as far as length of the reed.

Tunning from scratch,must mean cutting my own reeds.Where do I find the material?

You can find sheets of Milar at Jo Ann Fabrics then pick up a Fiskars 4 in paper cutter it\'s purple and orange for cutting reeds. Then get some good grit sand paper for fitting your corks. Then have a sharp small pocket knife for trimming corks to width while they are in the insert.
With all that you are ready to do some quality tuning!
