Last night at dinner, my son asked me, "Why didn't the geese come in Dad?" It was hard to try to explain to a three year old why they wouldn't land in the decoys while we were standing in the midst of them. His thought process of going to the park to feed them and literally be swarmed by 10 to 20 trying to get a bite to eat would not allow him to understand the concept of them not feeling comfortable to land in a hay field with 3 dozen decoys in the middle of no where with a Dad and son standing in the middle waiving hello to them.
After trying to explain all this to him he responded, "Well, we could go to the park tonight and get one."
My wife says he's brain washed. I say he's hooked.
Any advice on how to explain that we can't go to the park to get a goose to take home because Daddy's going to get into trouble?

Have an awesome day fellas.
