Just curious how you all place your duck dekes when field hunting geese and ducks.

Do you segregate your ducks to the side, do you intermingle them with your geese, do you put them in the landing pocket?  Do you put them behind you if you are in a laydown blind or pit?

Curious how everyone else does it.

I mix my ducks right in with the geese. Most times when I have seen them together they are mixed together.

Okay, dumb question I know.

Intermingle them in with the geese.  I usually don't have them completely near the pocket as I find it keeps the geese from landing in my face.  I intermingle them up through and mostly behind me.

Hey no question is a dumb question..The only bad question is the one not asked .
Besides someone might know a trick that works..
I just think there is nothing better than imitating the real thing..
