Well the area I hunt is on the Molesworth Station in the South island this is an organised hunt
As the geese in New Zealand don?t migrate anywhere they tend to stay in one area  So hunting tactics range from decoying birds to glassing then stalking birds to ambushing up tight valleys and on ridgelines   yes we are hunting geese up there and we get them too
the geese can feed down in this more open area
Hope you belive, its awesome we had two Guys from the states hunt with us in June and were amazed
 cheers Russell

Wow! That is amazing Russell !!
I can understand and imagine how different the hunting tactics can be on the other side of the world because I moved from MN to WA and the hunting was way different than I was used to...
When you start to travel a lot and hunt vastly different areas I can see now how MN minded I was I have grown so much as a waterfowler just moving to the west coast of the united states. I could only imagine what it would be like hunting in another country!
I would love to hunt your country some day..

Blessings!
