Folks reloading waterfowl loads is easy so I thought I would show just how easy it is...
Single stage reloaders are the premier choice when reloading magnum waterfowl loads.
I myself use the "Mec Steel Master" when producing Shaners home grown waterfowl loads..

The basic components needed are primers, hulls, wads, powder and shot.
Keep in mind the specific components must come from professional recipes you will find in reloading manuals and are to be strictly adhered to for safety!

There are multiple single stages you go through to produce one shell each requiring a pull of the handle of the the reloading press.

Step # 1 Deprime - removing old spent primer and resizing brass to factory specs.

Step # 2 Insert and seat new primer.

Step #3 dump powder in hull by moving to middle station pulling down on lever which inserts drop tube and move charge bar over which releases powder into hull.

Step # 4 place wad or shot cup on drop tube pull lever down move charge bar back the other direction dropping the shot into wad shot cup.

Step # 5 Start crimp of shell.

Step # 6 Seat and Finish Crimp..

And WALA!!!!

Then place shell in plastic slotted shell box for dry safe storage and that is it!

These little bad boys throw an 1  1/8 oz. of #3's & #1's 1565 f.p.s putting the smack down on our web footed targets!

I hope this is a help and a encouragement to reload to make custom waterfowl loads of your very own!

Yes I do they crimp very well and they have a plastic base wad that dose not absorb moisture like cardboard ones I have delt with in the past. Remington hulls also have great brass and are redily available .
Kent hulls for example have very poor brass for reloading purposes.....

Shane, Any chance you could share your load recipie? I know that with steel powder charges and shot charges should be weighed.  I''ve reloaded lead for years and before I would attempt steel reloads I would get a Mec steel master, I''ve been using a Mec 9000 for years for all my lead loads. I know the Mec Steelmaster is a single stage can you give me an idea of how long it takes to load a box of steel? Thanks for your help. If you don''t feel comfortable posting load recipies could you PM me your reciepe? Thanks for any help you can provide.
