Yesterday and today is our first dose of cold here in Maryland.

It was 12 degrees on my deck this morning.  The winds at 20 to 35 mph.

Wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for the wind.  kind of glad though.  Friday and Saturday night got tons of rain, so the fields are getting hard again today.

Friday had a terrific time out hunting (LOL), it poured, the birds didn't fly well, only harvested one goose between three hunters.  Told my wife I'd be home by noon.  @ 11:30 pulling my trailer out of the field, about 10 feet from pavement, I buried my truck in the mud.  Needless to say, I didn't make it home by noon.

Lot of work for one 8 pound goose, got soaked by an inch of rain, oh well.  It was better then being at work.

Saw tons of ducks on Friday though.

we are hunting the river in the morning. There were about 50-60 ducks on the hole the other day. Im off the next five days so its ducks and geese in the mornings and fill my bow tag for deer in the evening. Merry Christmas and may God bless you and yours.
