Summer Goose hunt!

Had a great weekend shooting with the team and we got 77 Geese for 11 shooters

I shoot 5 birds the first Morning and the 5 shooters got 18 birds over the decoys

The next morning we got 30 birds in all and I accounted for 10 of them plus I had a ball working the birds in with My ‘Real Thang’ call. Most of the guys had never used our heard a short reed call before and were impressed with what sounds I could make and work the birds in, mind you there were plenty of mistakes made so its back to practicing ready for the June Hunt

Seriously, congrats on a fun hunt.  Did you get a chance to try the flaggin?  If so, how'd it work?

 Well John you can hunt geese from May-Nov then Feb-April
thats about 9 months Hunting 
 Well its a good time to move as you get around 2 NZ Dollars for 1 US Dollar, if not save up for a  New Zealand winters HUNTING TRIP 

 as for the flag mark1 did not make it out but mark2 should get there
