What's the poll out there on all Hedge Wood calls with a stainless steel band?
I say Stainless band because it looks sharp and no maintenance polishing.... Grin
I just want to get the pulse for myself as to an all Hedge Wood Buck Gardner "Spitfire" so post'em up...!

Hey Shane,

Are you talking about a brand name "Hedge Wood Calls" or the material Hedge wood to make them??

I don't know anything if your talking about a brand name  Huh.  But if it's the material ...  It's a pretty durable wood.  The've been making fence posts out of some of it for years because of it's durability in the weather.  A friend of mine has a call made of this wood.  Great on the bottom end for sound and finness calling.  I can't remember the manufacturer's name, I'll have to ask him.

It's a Ferguson call.  I'm not familiar with the company.

i like the sound out of a hedge call.

as far as looks, i think there is definitely better looking wood out there.  however, burnt/flamed whatever you want to call it can look AWESOME when done by the right hands!  also, green hedge is very very nice!
