About Jason:
Jason Topper currently resides near Lancaster, Pa. He is happily married to Tracy, and has 2 sons, Matthew & Tyler. He currently serves as the Deputy Chief at a local Volunteer Fire Company.

His desire to hunt started at the young age of 5 while living in NC, when he would go along with his Dad every chance he was allowed. At the age of 7 he moved from NC to Pennsylvania. “Living in Pennsylvania you're not allowed to begin hunting until the age of 12, so the first chance I got in the woods was the first day of archery season and I shot my first Doe. My passion for goose hunting was soon to follow, and my first time out I was able to get a 13 pound goose. That same day I called in two geese for some friends; which I believe was by accident, now that my knowledge of calling has grown.”

In 2002 he began hunting Geese again after the moratorium ended and that's when things really took off. That year was relatively slow, but in 2003 he learned a lot and bought some new equipment, including his first Tim Grounds goose call after meeting Tim at a sales show.  In 2004, Jason and his Dad decided to start a private club. This has since turned into a great success to all those who have joined them. Jason spends several weeks a year in the field pursuing geese.

Jason’s fulltime job is project manger/estimator for an architectural millwork company. He also works as the PA, MD & DE sales rep for Higdon Decoys, and Pro Staffs for both Tim Grounds Championship Calls and Drake Waterfowl.

Sorry guys.  The best I can do is offer you the name of the closest airport which is Baltimore Washington International.  Otherwise known as BWI.

We had a great meeting last night.

Special thanks goes out to Jason for coming down from PA to do the seminar.  He spoke on when to call and how to call to decoy geese.  He touched on flagging details to decoy spread set ups.  He then was available to tune some calls for those who wanted tuning done.

Sorry folks, I left my camera at work and didn't take any photos last night.
