Hey Folks got this in my devotionals and thought it very worthy of sharing enjoy and as my good friend of faith Buck would say in His infinite words of wisdom "Hanging in there like a hair in a biscuit"  Cheesy

Bible Study Verse
Mark 8:2-5
"I have compassion for these people; they have already been with me three days and have nothing to eat. If I send them home hungry, they will collapse on the way, because some of them have come a long distance." His disciples answered, "But where in this remote place can anyone get enough bread to feed them?" "How many loaves do you have?" Jesus asked. "Seven," they replied. He told the crowd to sit down on the ground. When he had taken the seven loaves and given thanks, he broke them and gave them to his disciples to set before the people, and they did so. (NIV)

Thoughts
Ever been on a Fall elk hunt where you hunt for days, but you just can't find the bulls and you never hear a peep out of them? You give up and find out a few days later the weather changed and the bulls were bugling everywhere!

How about that week you took off fishing and after a couple of days of chasing crappies, you just couldn't get into them so you pack it up? Same scenario, you find out the next day they went on a feeding frenzy.

In both cases your friends say the obvious, "Man, you should have been there!"
(Ruben C)

Action Point
How about this scenario, you're in church on Sunday and your favorite pastor is on a roll and after an hour, you're thinking "when is it going to end?"

Jesus preached for THREE DAYS, and not only did the crowds hang with him the whole time, but mostly without food! I don't know about you, but I'm at least thinking about food every three hours! So what's your spiritual stamina? How long will you hang in there persistent in your faith or until God answers you? Do you still believe God knows your needs? Jesus did here and he had compassion on the people. How about those that surely wearied and left before Jesus performed the miracle of feeding at least 4,000 men on the third day? I'm sure they heard, "You should have been there!"

Be patient and stand firm (James 5:Cool and the Lord will respond to your needs.
