Tuesday night (Sept. 15th) and again last night on my drive home from work, I have observed ducks migrating through northern central Maryland.  It has begun my friends.

Geese continue to filter in.  Not in great mass yet, but the ponds in harford, and baltimore counties are starting to show birds loafing during the days.  Some ponds are holding 100 to 150 birds.

Saw a collar on a goose today at a pond out in Sparks MD.

Puddle Duck season officially opens here this Saturday in Maryland.  Hope to bring down some woodies!

Not much happening here in Central Maryland.  Hopefully this cold front on it''s way here will send some birds.

3 weeks from this Sat. till goose opener.  I sure would like to see more birds in my neck of the woods.

This week Monday and Sunday, I have been seeing a very slow trickle of high flying birds migrating.  Ponds in the northern central part of Maryland are starting to hold pretty good canada goose numbers.

Goose season starts November 20th.

Western shore of maryland: geese in decent numbers. Foggy dreary day today. With rain and front moving in tonight and tommorow has sent many birds to field feeding today.

Goose opens this Saturday.

Sittin at the end of the waterfowl split. Freezing temps here on th western shore of maryland north of baltimore. Most of the ponds are freezing over and birds are heading to rivers for open water. Temps today and tomorrow a bit milder but deep freeze headin in on Monday and the remainder of the week. New birds in the area I hope we can hold them and the weather doesn''t push them southward.
