I shot my first black bear last Monday in Thornloe Ontario. It weighed 300 pounds and traveled about 25 yards after being shot. The bears are big this year, my nephew''''s bear weighed about 325 pounds and was 6 foot long from nose to tail. With heavy rain washing away the blood trails we lost my father''''s bear, the camera photo''''s showed this bear to be over 350 pounds. We also lost my brother''''s blood trail in the rain, this was his third bear hunt and his first shot at a bear.
Can''''t wait for next year.
