Has anybody changed the gut system in the Acrylic Canada Hammer? To me, I can\'t get the sounds I would like to. Does anybody shave the \'quick tune\' posts off?

Did you make sure the reed dips in the tone channel with out clicking or catching? That will hinder what you can do!

No did not change anything except shave the reed ?
How far is the end of the reed keeper from the end of the insert when you put the guts back in? should be 1/8 of an inch. If it is sticking out way more than that then take the reed keeper and sand it down until it will go in far enough to give you that 1/8 inch.
