I think we all struggle with forgiveness from time to time.  This is one I love to read.

Luke 7:47(NIV)
-"Therefore, I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven-for she loved much.  But he who has been forgiven little loves little."

We all have a past and no matter how bad we all are forgiven by Grace thru Him!

Since I posted this verse I have seen the glory of the Lord.  I wrote a letter of forgiveness to my Mother who I have not seen since I was 9.  Found out some cold hard truths about a terrible relationship between her and my Father (who was an abusive alcoholic) (who I have forgiven long ago) and she contacted me back and we have started a new relationship.  God truly does work miracles in people''s lives.  Anyone who doesn''t believe it can call me and I tell them my testimony.  This part is just the icing on the cake. Jesus does pick the worst situations to fix and call his own... sometimes I feel like Paul.

Wow! great post so God can and will restore relationships between parents and there children no matter how old both of them get ..
This can all happen when we lay down the hurt and pick up the cross and remember how much we ourselves have been forgiven . This then gives way to new insight into the other we then become filled with compassion and empathy as we see our parents as God dose through the eyes of love.
We must reflect and take into account hurt people hurt people and we are all just little kids inside trying to find our way...

Blessing friends
