Here in Maryland, we are heading into the last leg of the season.  Everything around my hunting Grounds is frozen and most of the birds are in areas that I don''t have access to.

I scouted around Friday evening and was unable to locate any birds near our properties.  So we rolled the dice and went to a farm that we haven''t hunted yet this year.  It is usually a good late season property.  So we figured we would give it a try.

We didn''t know if it was going to be a hard to pull kind of hunt if they were flying some distance away.  So we set out 16 dozen geese and a dozen and a half duck decoys on the highest peak we could find.

It turned out to be a no fly zone.  But we witnessed a great sunrise.
