Wow 23 new members this year so far! Cool
Now as some of may know I’m from New Zealand. So could some of our New members post up a little of were in your country you hunt and live plus a little of your hunting background and how God has worked in your life.
Let me start; I live in New Zealand (yes said that already I know) in a small town called Blenheim, its mostly vineyards around here. I started hunting ducks about thirteen years ago
with an old side by side, six decoys. And I shoot 4 ducks for 70 rounds in my frist opening weekend. I’m better now I think. I come to faith in Christ at about 23 years old from a little self absorbed man, it was a great change coming into this new life. I now have a lovely wife of 17 years and four kids. I now run with my wife a small Sunday school of 30 kids (6- 12 years) together, in a congregation of around 150.
Now I look forward to getting to know some of our new members over the next weeks our so Wink.
Cheers Russell

Ok, I''ll jump in here.  I hail from Maryland in the U.S.of A.  got saved at age 5 at the service where my father was being ordained.

Grew up in a family that hunted and waterfowl (especially geese) became a passion in the teen years.  That passion continues to grow.

I run the Maryland Chapter of CFC.  I also run A Higher Calling Huntin'' Team in which I take persons on hunts and do waterfowl seminars while sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Powered by Benelli but empowered to Jesus Christ!

Here is the official Bio.

I grew up Hunting in Southern Wisconsin on the shores of Lake Koshkonong.  As a child I didn''''''''t care what I was hunting, as long as I was hunting.  As I grew closer to being a young man, the annual pilgrimage to Manatoba Canada to hunt ducks in the delta marsh off the southern tip of Lake Winnipeg became magical.  From those early years on, I was in love with hunting ducks.   Even those years spent in the Marine Corps when I couldn''''''''t hunt ducks, it was all I could think about all fall.  I have since lived in the western part of the state where I was able to hunt from LaCrosse to Platteville on the Mississippi River and between the Wisconsin Dells and Portage on the Wisconsin River.  I have recently moved to the Greater Milwaukee Area, where I hunt in the local public marshes, the Milwaukee River and some of the larger lakes in the Waukesha County Area.  I still hunt in the Janesville and Lake Koshkonong area.  I have been a DU member since I was 8 yrs old when I became a DU greenwing in the early stages of that program.  I am married to my best friend, and have 3 children.  A Daughter, 11, that lives in Lavalle WI with her mother and 2 Sons, 10 and 3, that live with me.  I always loved hunting waterfowl, however when I got my first lab it changed the game for me altogether.  When he died prematurely I got my second lab and trained him to senior hunter level and at 3 found out that he had retinal atrophy.  Even though I can''''''''t breed him, I still hunt him and love to watch him work.  His lose of depth perception makes it tough on the water but he loves hunting the land.  I plan on getting a puppy after next season and training it to the master hunter level.  I live to hunt waterfowl and be with my dog in the field.  I am glad that I have the ability to pass this on to my children and my "big city girl" wife (as my small town family calls her).  We love to be outdoors and love to share it with our friends.

The unofficial Bio.  I Love God, My Family, And Hunting Waterfowl.  Pretty much in that order!

Sorry Guys I left out the part about what GOD has done in my life this is a very small, very short, synapsis.

Not many people know my full testimony, it is a long story.  To make it short, I came from a broken home, I have an alcoholic father, I mother that I hadn''''t seen for 20+ years.  God has reunited me with my Mother, Still is working on my Father, and a strained relationship with my Sister.  He has healed me from addiction, and given me an AWESOME wife and three beautiful kids.  And is currently at work on my finances and I know will bring me a house soon.  I said long story short so I cut it off there but there is a ton more.  If anyone ever doubts that God exist and Jesus died so we may be forgiven you have them call me.  Much like Paul, I was lost and now I am found, was blind but now I see.  I should not be here today, and mental sanity should not be with me.  I owe it all to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ he is the great healer, I could not have done anything without him(believe me I tried)!

I am new to this site.  I am 27 years old and live in the northern part of Louisiana.  I have been duck hunting since about age 10.  I learned all I know about the sport from my dad.  He has since quit hunting as he said "One day I woke up and just was not mad at them anymore."  I am crazy about hunting and all the things that go along with it.  I am in the process of trying to find a lab pup to be my hunting buddy.  Mostly hunt rice fields and we had a pretty good season.

I was baptized at the age of 10.  I grew up in a Christian home and went to church every Sunday.  When I got to college, to say I hit a rough patch would be an understatement.  I lost site of a lot of God.  I have been married for three years to a beautiful woman.  I am very lucky to have her.  I put a lot of stress on our marriage at first, because I was still acting like a boy (not a man).  Finally after some trials I have gotten my life back on track and am happier now than I have been in a long time.

I am still a sinner saved by grace, but am actively pursuing God and his word.  I just recently started the Men''s Fraternity Bible study with a group of friends here and am excited about the impact it is having.

Thanks, Adam
