Early Resident Goose season ended on Sept. 24th. I couldn''''t make it out for the 24th due to a previous comitment, I was able to get out on friday the 23rd. A Higher Calling Huntin'''' Team joined forces with Gone Wild Outdoors to put some more birds in the freezer. We headed out this morning to beat the 2 to 3 inches of rain in the forecast for the afternoon. Between getting two trucks stuck in the already saturated field, we were able to decoy in 2 flocks this morning. (These were the only birds that flew). We also had the pleasure of taking Eric Miker the guitarist from DecembeRadio on his first ever goose hunt. I think he''''s hooked as we managed to get a total of 7.
