Signatures and Avatar Rules
This should come as no surprise to anyone, but we will not allow any form of advertising in member signatures UNLESS the member is a sponsor, or has been designated to represent a sponsor. No links, phone numbers, company names, logos, pro staff titles, etc.
Bottom line is this. Our main web site goes ABOVE AND BEYOND to equally represent companies and products whether they are our sponsors or not. The fine companies that sponsor us are not given any advantages in terms of the "Ratings", which drive a lot of the display orders. One thing that they WILL get is the comfort that other people and companies will not get free advertising in the forums.
Here are the rules, unless you ARE a sponsor company or a designated representative you cannot:
Put a link in your signature.
Put the name of a website in your signature.
Put a company name in your signature.
Put a phone number in your signature.
Put a pro staff affiliation in your signature.
Put an email address in your signature.
Use a company logo as an avatar.
Do anything else that could be construed as advertising in either your signature or avatar.
There will be no exceptions to these rules!
