Many sportsmen have spent a lot of time pursuing waterfowl along the migration routes they take from Canada were they are born to Mexico were they end up . Life is in a lot of ways like the great migration of ducks and geese & down life's flyway there are many decoy spreads that look and sound like truth, and only when you land in them and take refuge in them do they become a snare for your soul ! and they like the decoys, looking like the real thing on the outside & inside they are hollow with no life in them. There are the decoy spreads of New age theology, Buddhism, Islam, Freemasonry, Mormonism, Hinduism,Yoga, Jehovah's witness, Indian mystesescism, Wicca along with a host of others some even with a veneer of Christianity like man made denominations directing you to works, lulling you into a false sense of security that you are somehow in right standing with God , living under the banner of ""I go to church , I believe in God, I'm a good person" instead of being born of Gods spirit, only to bypass intimacy & a relationship with Christ! To know God! Being born of him! All quoting spiritual principals & truths to bare witness to your spirit man. Just as John the Baptist bore witness in his spirit as Jesus came toward him in the Jordan river, that he was the lamb of God , never meeting Christ before ,as written in the book of John chpt. 1:29-34 . You see Satan used to be an angel in heaven in charge of worship but because he wanted to be as God & he was cast out of heaven along with a 3rd of the angels, so he knows Gods word and spiritual truths . So will Satan try to get your spirit man to bare witness to spiritual truths by quoting from Gods word only to leave out the only name that man shall call on to be saved! The name of Jesus! Or to replace intimacy with Christ with head knowledge & works. This is all done by evil men (apart from the spirit of Christ!) ignorantly inspired by the spirit of this world, Satan ! ( Allah, Buddha, Joseph Smith, Charles Darwin, some leaders of denominations ect. ect.) Read 2 Peter 2:1-3 , 2 Timothy 3:13 & just as holy men of God were inspired by the holy spirit to write Gods word. Read (2Timothy 3:16 &2 Peter 1:21, The same was done by evil men (not born again of the spirit of Christ!) but inspired by Satan the spirit of this world. Creating false religions (Decoys!) and worse yet some with Christ's name on it deviating from Gods word & the Holy Spirit which leads into all truth, only to point the way to & leaving people to cleave to, man made traditions, doctrines & a system of works as a means to get to heaven. Remember the story in the Bible of the tower of Babel where they were trying to build a tower to reach heaven using there own strengths or works. Just like denomination dose to this very day rendering the word of God to no effect or power, having the form of Godliness but denying the power there of! (Decoys!) Matthew 15: 3 He answered and said to them, "Why do you also transgress the commandment of God because of your tradition? Galations 1:7 which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the Gospel of Christ. Colossians 2:8 Beware! lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principals of the world, and not according to Christ. Ephesians 4:14 that we should no longer be children , tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting The most important thing of all Acts 4:12 says 12. "Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." You must be born of the spirit of Christ as it says in John chpt 3:5 Jesus answered "most assuredly I say to you, unless one is born of the water and of the Spirit, he can not enter the kingdom of God."
